12 new LTCI physicians secure care for 200+ residents

Over the past year, 12 family physicians have joined the Victoria and South Island Divisions’ Long-Term Care Initiative (Vic-SI LTCI), ensuring more than 200 residents were not left without a Most Responsible Provider (MRP). Because an MRP is required for LTC admission, physician participation directly supports bed availability across the system. Every physician who takes on an LTC panel helps create access, not only for residents entering care, but also for patients waiting in the hospital and the community for the right level of support.

With our aging population increasing the demand for LTC physicians, 12 additional LTCI physicians are a significant step forward – but there is still room for more.

Join the LTCI’s information event – June 25 at Lido Bistro

Interested in incorporating a long-term care panel into your existing practice? Connect with Jessica at [email protected] to learn about mentorship, support, and funding options in the LTCI, or join their June 25 information event at Lido Bistro.
