Cool Aid Community Health Centre provides inner-city team-based primary care with focus on mental health, substance use and equity-oriented care. You will work with a fantastic interdisciplinary team consisting of nurses, counsellors, dietician, acupuncturist, visiting specialists, MOAs and an embedded pharmacy. We have multiple outreach sites in the community where we provide health services and a mobile outreach van. Responding to the opioid crisis with low barrier addictions care and harm reduction supports is an essential part of our work. Certification in opioid agonist therapy (OAT) is an essential qualification for physicians interested in joining our growing team.

7 clinic rooms, 6 MOAs, 5 RNs working at Advanced Practice scope for nursing
If on outreach, 2 RNs working with each physician
Dedicated computer for physician use with wireless, high-speed internet

Guaranteed hourly minimum | $172.60

In addition to ongoing locum coverage, we have two leaves. The first leave is from mid-June to mid-September, 2 days in clinic and 2 outreach days (shifts: 9-4). The other leave is September-November, working 2 in-clinic shifts.
