Are you open to innovation and the changing landscape of primary care? womenMD, located in the community of Fairfield in Victoria British Columbia, provides primary-care family medicine and comprehensive women’s health management.

We specialize in integrative Lifestyle Medicine for our patients and are committed to providing optimal care.

In addition to offering Sexual Medicine, IUD clinics, Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy, Menopause Consultations and an eight-week menopause educational program, we provide Mental Health and Resilience programs and wellness initiatives that are available throughout the Life Span.

womenMD offers Victoria’s first Primary Care team-based lifestyle intervention in patients with metabolic syndrome.

The foundation of Lifestyle Medicine is holistic nutrition, exercise, mental wellness and resilience and a sense of community. These pillars of health keep patients out of the primary practitioner’s office and assist patients to connect to their health at a ground level.

womenMD provides an integrative and collaborative approach to care with our multidisciplinary team. We have a beautiful and bright office space and look forward to welcoming you to our team.

Details:

  • Work hours and days |
    • Expected number of dates of work per year | 187-210
    • Expected number of days o work in a week | 3-5
    • Expected number of hours of work in a day | 6-8
    • Expected to work statutory holidays | No
    • Practitioner may take up to 6 weeks’ vacation per calendar year. The practitioner will provide advance notice of at least 2 months of absences due to vacations
  • After hours and on-call expectations | optional based on the applicant
  • FTE | 1.0
  • Patient population | This clinic focuses on women’s health and incorporates the concept of Integrative
  • Lifestyle Medicine into patient care
  • Attachment | The practitioner will be the most responsible primary care provider for a minimum patient panel as described in the NTP NP contract template
  • Additional sites for contract services | based on practitioner preference
  • Qualifications and privileging | Member of Nursing Professionals
  • Preferred experience and skills | fully licensed NP with an interest in women’s health
  • Clinic supplied technology | the clinic will provide EMR environment, office space, office staff and office equipment
  • Overhead arrangements or office agreements | The Practice Agreement in the NP Primary Care Service Contract template
  • Compensation per Ministry’s designated NP Primary Care Service Contract rates
