We hope to see you at our Nov 2nd AGM! Here’s what Dr Ian Bekker who works in long-term care told us: “Going to an evening event seems like a lot of work: getting ready, driving, parking, engaging… But the VDFP AGM is worth it. Why? It feels good to see all the other people working with you in this health ’system’ and hear they have similar struggles and concerns you have – even if you don’t have a FP office (like me). The atmosphere is fun, relaxed, and entertaining; it’s worth the effort!”
Dr Magnus Macnab who does surgical assists and locums told us in the previous Newsflash: “I was hesitant to attend the AGM last year due to a busy schedule and concern I wouldn’t know anybody. However, my wife and I both attended and I am so glad we did. We learned about various division initiatives, had a delicious meal, caught up with old acquaintances, met new people and had a wonderful evening.”
