As part of the ongoing commitment that the Victoria Division and the division-supported Victoria Primary Care Network (PCN) have made toward Truth and Reconciliation, we are excited to launch a new sharing platform. We invite you to join us in contributing to this board, leading into the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on September 30th—and continuing beyond.
Reconciliation is a healing journey that involves sharing truths, offering apologies, and remembering past harms. It calls upon all Canadians, as Treaty peoples, to take responsibility for building and sustaining respectful relationships through open dialogue, engagement, and ongoing learning.
This sharing board offers everyone within our professional community—our members, your allied health and office team members, division staff, health authority colleagues, and community partners—a chance to share a story, a picture, or a reflection. Together, we can enliven our commitment and foster a culture of reflection and action.
Accessible only via a direct link and moderated by the PCN team, the board is meant to be a lasting space for connection. In the future, we will create and share a collage of your initial contributions as part of this journey.
Please join us in making this platform a meaningful space for collective sharing and reflection as we continue to walk the path of reconciliation.
