This month, and especially around National Indigenous Peoples Day on June 21, there are several opportunities for Indigenous cultural competency learning and engagement in Victoria. Mark your calendars!

• Join the National Indigenous Peoples Day celebration at Royal Roads University, 2005 Sooke Road on Friday, June 20, 10 am – 3 pm.

• Aunty Collective has a community mural until June 25. Come help paint the mural! Indigiqueer Drag Bingo is on on Thursday, June 26.

• Victoria Film Festival presents A Celebration of Indigenous Film from June 19 – 22.
