After 6 years in practice Dr. Stansfield is moving away from Victoria BC on July 1, 2026. He has a successful, geriatric-focused practice of ~1,100 patients placed at Sitka Health Centre, and is open to any physician interested in joining the practice and taking over some or part of his panel.
As it is difficult to recruit physicians into a permanent practice position such as this, he is also open to re-locating patients from his current location to other practices around the city. While a majority of his patients are in the Victoria area, around 40% live in the Westshore and would benefit from access to care in their home communities.
Dr. Stansfield is currently on LFP and has a high complexity score according to doctors of BC. This represents an opportunity for physicians looking to take on groups of patients to increase their panel complexity score, or for physicians working under the FFS as he has not billed any CDM codes this year.
He is motivated to support digital record transfer to improve the efficiency of patient relocation. Please reach out if you’d like to discuss further.
