The best time to plan for a disaster is before it happens. We’re seeking an additional 2-3 group medical practices to help pilot our new, facilitated process for practice continuity planning—essential tools to ensure your clinic can respond effectively to emergencies and recover quickly.
What’s involved:
Participating clinics will join two 1-hour facilitated learning sessions led by Dr. Ian Bekker and VDFP staff. These sessions will:
- Guide your team in creating a personalized practice continuity plan.
- Provide feedback and support from our Emergency Planning team.
- Collect your valuable insights to improve VDFP’s continuity resources for all clinics.
There will be minor preparatory work to gather documents before the sessions.
What you’ll get:
- Practical tools to enhance your clinic’s emergency preparedness.
- Compensation for physicians at the sessional rate.
- Breakfast or lunch provided for all attendees.
Who should attend:
We ask each clinic to have at least three family physicians participate, as well as core clinic staff such as office managers and/or MOAs. We will facilitate the sessions on-site at your clinic for convenience.
