Pharmacy tip # 9: Blister pack prescriptions – do you have a complete list?

When sending blister pack prescriptions, family physicians may not think about including over-the-counter medications. This can create confusion whether these should be stopped or were an accidental omission. TIP: If you don’t have the full list in your EMR, ask the patient or a family member to bring the list to the pharmacy for inclusion.
