VDFP executive board roles 2024-25

At its recent first meeting, the 2024-25 VDFP Board confirmed Dr. Melissa Duff will continue to serve as the board chair. Dr. Anna Mason and Mr. Peter Lockie will continue in their roles as secretary and treasurer, respectively.

Survey: Assessing effective preventive family medicine

The UBC family practice department is inviting your feedback on effective preventive medicine in BC. Find their approximately 10-minute FP survey here and their resident survey here. Scroll down to the bottom of page 1 to consent to participate. The survey closes on November 30th.

Free Canadian MAiD Curriculum sessions open for RSVPs

Registration is now open for new 2025 sessions of the Canadian MAiD Curriculum — the first comprehensive, nationally accredited, evidence-based educational program to support the practice of MAiD in Canada. Sessions are CFPC-accredited at 3 credits per hour and open free of charge for licensed physicians and residents. More information on their website
