Drs Stuart Bax and Cal Shapiro and their team are working on a Shared Care project to improve cancer care for unattached patients in the Victoria area. If you connect with unattached patients, please consider sharing the needs assessment survey poster and encouraging them to participate.
The survey is designed for people who
1. Have accessed or tried to access cancer screening services in the last 2 years;
2. Did not have access to a primary care provider during that time;
3. Live in the Victoria/South Island region; AND
4. Are 30+ years old
The results will be used to develop a needs assessment report and a cancer screening and surveillance service model for patients without a primary care provider in our area.
