Patient Summaries give hospital teams early access to key longitudinal information, helping clarify your patient’s needs from the start of an inpatient stay. Any FP can send one by fax to Health Records (1-250-755-7659) or via the EMR Connect portal (contact [email protected] to get set up or learn more) – no PowerChart access required. Summaries won’t get ‘buried’ as they are a separate document type and can also be sent proactively for a patient at risk of hospitalization.
