Island Health is inviting Vancouver Island clinics to apply to fill an upcoming family physician vacancy through the 2026 UBC International Medical Graduate Program.
This program offers clinics the opportunity to welcome a newly-graduated, practice-ready family physician in summer 2027. Physicians are Canadian citizens who completed medical school abroad, have successfully matched to a UBC family medicine residency program, and are required to commit to a 2-year Return of Service placement upon graduation.
