The Victoria Division has released its new strategic plan – a roadmap shaped by you, our members.
Throughout the planning process, we’ve heard your voices clearly through the Division’s comprehensive survey, one-on-one conversations, meetings, and working groups. You told us what matters most, and we listened. Your insights directly informed the priorities you’ll see in this plan.
Highlights
- At the heart: a community where family physicians thrive
At the centre of the new plan is a clear refreshed vision: a community where family physicians thrive and lead excellent care for all. Every priority we’ve set will move us toward that North Star. - Evolving with you: what’s new and what we’re building on
The plan strengthens the supports you value most, while addressing urgent challenges affecting your ability to thrive – including primary care infrastructure and workforce pressures, work-life fit challenges, managing patients waiting for specialist services, and supporting care for priority populations. - Deepening our commitment to Reconciliation
As a meaningful new part of our Reconciliation journey, a strengthened commitment to Indigenous cultural safety and competency is now embedded in our framework. - Reinforcing our Division’s foundation
With growth through the PCN and more, we’re strengthening our Division’s organizational foundation to sustain and expand our member-driven work.
