Avalon Health Clinic is a new multi-disciplinary clinic opening in Victoria, BC, founded by Dr. Dennis Y. Kim. Avalon is built around a wrap-around model of care where family practice sits at the centre of an integrated team. Patients walk into one space and find their care coordinated under one roof, with their GP as the anchor and direct access to neuro rehabilitation, surgical recovery, and ICU recovery services on site.
We are recruiting Family Physicians who want to practise differently. At Avalon, you will share a clinic with rehabilitation specialists, allied health professionals, and a clinical operations team designed to handle the work that pulls family doctors away from patient care. The result is a practice environment that supports continuity of care, complex cases, and the kind of focused time with patients that makes family medicine meaningful.
If you are looking for a collaborative team where your patients have access to integrated rehabilitation and recovery services on the same site, and where the operational design of the clinic is built around clinician wellbeing as much as patient outcomes, we would love to hear from you.
Work environment
Avalon spans 26 office spaces in a building refinished in 2026 with the kind of considered design you usually find outside of clinical environments. Natural light, soft acoustics, warm materials, and uncluttered rooms run through the building. Consultation spaces are private and generous in size. The shared areas invite real conversation between colleagues without pulling you out of your day. Walking through Avalon should feel less like a typical medical clinic and more like a space designed for the people who work in it.
