**Fantastic opportunity to have a longitudinal family practice on a part-time schedule!!**

Dr. Allison Ferg is looking for a family doctor to share her practice. She has been working in a practice-share situation over the past year, and it has worked really well for everyone. Unfortunately, her practice-share partner is moving for family reasons, and she is looking for a new partner.

Practice Type:

  • Longitudinal family medicine, 1200 attached patients
  • Optional (but ideal): antenatal, postpartum and newborn patients (mentoring available) – up to 8 maternity patients due per month
  • Optional: hospital OB (shared call line: call shifts Thurs-Sun to accommodate the office days [this schedule can be modified twice a year if different days work better for you]. Full call line is 4-5 12-hour shifts per month)

Schedule:

  • 2-2.5 days in clinic (specific days are flexible), starting anytime after the last week of June.

Clinic Location and Team:

  • Wonderful physician colleagues: Heera Bindra (manages practice), Deanna Singh, Graeme Sutton/Janine Reeves share, Emanuella Nwebeh (currently on mat leave with locum coverage).
  • Free underground parking spot (shared).
  • Great free secure bike parking, just off the Galloping Goose trail. Showers and lockers available.

Compensation and Overhead:

  • Previous practice share partner worked as a LFP Locum.
  • Longitudinal Family Physician (LFP) payment model, or if ya new-to-practice contract is preferred, Dr. Ferg is willing to donate patients to your panel.
  • Overhead – to be negotiated with practice manager, Dr. Heera Bindra.

Teaching Opportunities:

  • Family practice R1 starting July 2026. Opportunity to be preceptor on your office days, or if you don’t want to teach, other physicians in the office are willing to work with the resident on days you are in office.

Other details:

  • Average daily patient volume: 20-25
  • Required: Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC
  • Optional: on-call obligations, telephone on-call, hospital privileges, house calls, obstetrics
  • Technology: Dedicated computer for physician use with wireless high-speed internet
