Job Specifics

We are seeking locum physicians to join our growing healthcare team. UVic Student Wellness (UVic SW) offers collaborative and multidisciplinary care to post secondary students. UVic SW operates a hybrid model of same day and regular appointments of both in-person and virtual care. The UVic SW team includes administrative staff, clinical counselors, physicians, psychologists, registered nurses, and spiritual care providers. Students seek support primarily in the areas of mental health, sexual health and public health.

Schedule | anytime during Mon-Fri: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (closed stats and during winter closure: Dec. 25 – Jan. 2)
- physicians receive a 30-min paid lunch, plus two 15-min breaks
- (Dedicated scheduled time for indirect tasks) $116.10 x 6% vacation = $123.07 per hour.
