The Victoria Division of Family Practice connects family medicine-trained physicians to foster community, spark innovation, and lead improvements in the local health system. We respond to our members’ priorities by amplifying the physician voice and providing diverse services, supports, and programs. Sustainable ways to practice and support physician well-being are at the heart of our vision, “A community where family physicians thrive and lead excellent care for all”.
The Victoria Division has more than 830 members, including 416 general members. 80% of them are engaged on some level, from using Division services to leading our work.
The Victoria Division has many facets of work:
Opportunities to connect and collaborate with your colleagues across Victoria
Tools and services that support you as an individual family-medicine trained doctor, including the Urban Locum Program
System-focused programs and change initiatives, including the development of our Primary Care Network (PCN)
All family-medicine trained doctors from all work settings are welcome to become a member. If you are a resident or student, a primary member of another Division, moved away or retired, you are invited to become an associate member. View our full membership policy here.
