June is National Indigenous History Month, and June 21 marks National Indigenous Peoples Day – a time to celebrate Indigenous cultures, histories, and resilience.
“For us as physicians, this is a moment to pause, reflect on our connection with the Indigenous communities we serve, and cultivate gratitude for the places where we live, work, and play,” wrote VDFP member Dr. Kelsey Louie in a recent message in his role as Doctors of BC’s first Chief Medical Advisor, Indigenous Health Care.
