Since 2015, the PRA-BC program has assessed 363 family physicians in 78 communities across BC, and 81 full-time family physicians have begun their Canadian practice on Vancouver Island through PRA-BC. Currently, 39 physicians are completing their three-year ROS placements, with half choosing to stay in the clinics after completion. In 2024, the ministry tripled the PRA-BC seats from 32 to 96.
