After 11 impactful years with the Division, Helen Welch, our Director of PMH Development, has decided to pursue new opportunities. Her contributions have ranged from strengthening recruitment and retention, to launching the Urban Locum Program, to leading the island-wide recruitment collaborative, to being instrumental in the creation of the VPCN Service Plan, all in close collaboration with physician leads. Following her last day on June 27, Gillian Swinburnson will step into the new role of VDFP Recruitment Manager, bringing valuable experience from her recruitment, onboarding, and mentorship work within the Long-term Care Initiative.
