Are you looking to get involved with Division projects, or explore a new leadership role with minimal time commitments? The MOA Network project is searching for a Family Physician Lead who can offer valuable insight and inform program strategy, design and implementation.
The MOA Network
The MOA Network will support the evolving needs of MOAs working in Victoria Division member clinics through a combination of clinical and professional development supports, resources, and ongoing engagement and education opportunities.
The Network will aim to:
1. Strengthen connections and collaboration between clinics and MOAs
2. Support ongoing professional development and training
3. Enhance efficiencies and practices across clinics
4. Act as a centralized hub for communications, education content, and resources
Role summary
The FP Lead will offer their community clinic experience to assist the project team with program design, engagement and education content. At the project start, the Lead will also assist with decisions regarding Network Champion(s) and Working Group members.
Duties and responsibilities
- Assist project staff in determining MOA Network working group membership
- Participate in bimonthly working group meetings with local clinic administrators
- Provide the community family physician perspective to the working group and project staff
- Champion the Network and encourage family physician awareness
Qualifications
- Member of the Victoria Division of Family Practice
- Member of the Victoria PCN
- Community Family Physician practicing in Victoria
- Currently working in a clinic with engaged and supported MOAs
Time commitment
- 2-3 hours bimonthly
- One-year term
- Compensation is provided per hour at the current physician sessional rate
