MRI ordering updated
Island Health Medical Imaging have adopted appropriateness criteria for MRI ordering in alignment with provincial initiatives and Choosing Wisely Canada recommendations. Family physicians are asked to complete the MRI appropriateness checklist and submit it alongside the updated MRI requisition for lumbar spine, knee/hips, shoulder, and for headaches. Read more
